Visit to Manor House Residential Home

I visited Manor House Residential Home in Old Farnley on the 30th anniversary of its opening, meeting the owners Mr and Mrs Dhaliwal, alongside Lord Mayor Cllr Jane Dowson.

Getting to attend Manor House on its anniversary meant that I could join in the celebrations of both staff and residents. Everyone had a lot of fun, and it was clear to see the passion that they have not just in caring for their residents, but also for the wider local community. Talking to staff allowed me to feel the history of the Home, as some have been working there since it opened in 1988!
