This afternoon I spoke with community leaders regarding the proposals to improve the canal crossing at Wyther Lane in Armley, including the possibility of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge. The need for social distancing makes this issue even more pressing.

I look forward to continuing to work with local residents, the City Council, and the Canal and River Trust to get this much-needed local improvement for Armley and Kirkstall.
