Rachel Reeves Labour Member of Parliament for Leeds West
This week in Parliament, I spoke about the continued need for flood defences in Leeds.
Since 2015 and the devastating boxing day floods in my constituency, I have been campaigning for better flood defences in Leeds. It is a case of when, not if, Leeds floods again, and we need to be better prepared for this.
I am calling on the Government to release the £23 million still needed for Leeds City Council to ensure that Leeds is fully protected against floods.
