Since 2010 Rachel has been campaigning to improve bus services across the constituency and is continuing to campaign hard and work with First Bus and Metro to resolve a number of issues.

Rachel conducted surveys in early 2012 and 2013 to gain views and feedback regarding local bus services and the results of these surveys have been used to drive the campaign and ensure First and Metro are aware of the main problems constituents are experiencing.

Recently, a drop-in event was held in Rodley with First and Metro, where local residents could pop in and discuss ongoing problems. A number of main concerns were identified during the drop in session including the lack of service between Rodley and Bramley and concerns over the number 49 stopping point. First are currently looking into resolving these issues and we hope to provide an update soon.
