Rachel Reeves Labour Member of Parliament for Leeds West
After much lobbying and with the support of local Councillors, Leeds City Council have now started their consultation for a Cumulative Impact Policy in Armley.
If the consultation is successful and the Council vote on the current proposals, it will mean that new-off licences will find it much more difficult to open on Town Street and the surrounding area.
It will also mean that existing off-licenses could find it difficult when renewing theirs if they are selling alcohol irresponsibly, therefore causing harm to the wider community.
The consultation will end on 8th April 2016
You can be part of the consultation by clicking here.
We need as many people as possible to complete the consultation, so please forward the link to friends and family. If anybody would prefer to complete a paper version they can get it from Armley library.
