It was great to chair this event at the Brudenell Social Club on the 17th February with Angela Rayner MP, Cllr Jonathan Pryor, Cllr, Lisa Mulherin and Hannah Bithell – Council candidate for Kirkstall

Angela spoke about Labour’s plans for education and how we will improve it if elected in 2022. She praised Council’s like Leeds for protecting vital preventative, care and education services for children and families despite ongoing Tory government funding cuts. Many interesting points on education were raised, and it is clear that Labour are the only party which will put your children first with a fairer education system. It was great to see so many people there.
