I was proud to speak alongside fellow MPs, councillors and trade unionists in Leeds about the plight of the Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar whose plight must be heard and action taken to relieve the suffering, ensure the right of return and to give them full and equal citizenship at home. Our PM and government must speak on behalf of the British people at the UN and internationally to bring and end to the genocide and bring peace and justice for the Rohingya Muslim population.
