Rachel thanks pupils for taking part in her Christmas Card Competition

Each year Rachel invites primary school pupils in the constituency to take part in a competition to design her Christmas Card.

This morning Rachel attended school assemblies to give out certificates to children who took part in her Christmas Card Competition this year. At a charming candlelit assembly at Summerfield Primary School in Bramley she gave a special prize to Alistair who won the competition this year. Millie from Raynville Primary School and Ayan from Hawksworth Wood Primary School in Kirkstall who also received prizes as runners up.

Rachel said: “The cards this year showed great creative flair and a lot of diversity, I was really impressed. I’m grateful to all those that participated and I would especially like to congratulate Alistair, Millie and Ayan for their designs.”
