Earlier this month, Rachel officially opened the much anticipated Bramley Lawn, a social centre managed by Bramley Elderly Action.
The centre has been totally refurbished and can now be enjoyed by older people from Bramley and across Leeds West. Bramley Lawn will inspire new ideas about ways to spend time together, have fun and learn new skills. The centre will also provide support for people with dementia and their carers.
Rachel was also joined by Cllr Ted Hanley, Cllr Caroline Gruen, Cllr Kevin Ritchie, and new Labour candidate Julie Heselwood at the opening of this fantastic project. Rachel made a speech, welcoming the work of the whole community and congratulating Bramley Elderly Action for making this project happen.
