Rachel attends moving Remembrance Day service

Rachel attended a moving Remembrance Day service this weekend as the streets of Leeds city centre fell silent to pay tribute to those who have fallen in service of their country.

The parade began at the Civic Hall and proceeded on to the Cenotaph in front of Leeds Art Gallery where Rachel and other civil dignitaries laid down wreaths to pay their respects. Rachel spoke of how moved she was that those of all generations came out to pay their respects to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
