Rachel delivered a speech to Bloomberg last week, in which she detailed Labour's policies to make work pay.
In the speech, Rachel argued that we should build an economy that rewards hard work, through increasing the minimum wage, promoting the living wage and strengthening the regulation of zero-hours contracts. She said:
"Our ambition must be to build an economy in which someone who is willing to put in the hours at work can support themselves and raise a family without having to rely on benefits to cover the rent."
