Rachel Reeves Labour Member of Parliament for Leeds West
It was great to visit the Forgotten Women of Wakefield group on the 16th February. The Project have been set up to creatively commemorate women from Wakefield who’s achievements have been forgotten.
We discussed Alice Bacon’s life and achievements as well as other women who have impacted our city greatly, and it was great to answer all of their questions and see the project’s work so far. I look forward to seeing how the project progresses.
