The Barca Wise Up To Cancer launch taking place on Friday the 17th of February at Bramley shopping centre. The launch will be hosted by Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Yorkshire Cancer Research aims to ensure that every person in Yorkshire has the best chance of living a healthy life by raising awareness of how to survive and cope with cancer. They are committed to ensuring that the region’s cancer problems are supported and tackled in the best possible way and aim to do this by investing over £100m.

Yorkshire Cancer Research will be hosting The Barca Wise Up To Cancer launch which will take place from 10am – 3pm at Bramley shopping centre. The launch will be carried out with the aim of raising awareness about cancer and providing information on how to avoid, cope and survive with cancer.

The launch will take place in the form of a family fun day and will include several activities during the day. These include meeting the Leeds Rhino’s mascot and fun activities such as face painting. Free health checks and healthy snacks will also be available throughout the day. I will be visiting the launch event, it would be great to see you there.
