I was delighted to attend the consultation meeting held at Bramley Library; to speak to members of the community about the proposal to upgradeĀ theĀ site into a community hub. Many people from the community came, including Councillors Caroline Gruen, and Kevin Ritchie.

The plans saw an overwhelming amount of support from the local community, with many believing that these changes will introduce new services, like a job shop and a registry office, and also ensure that Bramley Library survives for years to come.

I’m very excited for this plan to become a reality. A big thanks to all those who attended the meeting, as well as to the staff members of Bramley Library, and Leeds City Council officers.
