I was thrilled to attend the 36th annual Kirkstall Festival on Saturday and I had a lovely day browsing the stalls and listening to the music acts.
Despite the rain, there was a lively atmosphere and thousands still turned out to join the fun!
There were over 160 stalls, a battle of the bands, a tea dance and a comedy club. There was also storytelling and a giant colouring book created by the engineers at the University of Leeds for the children.
The festival followed a heroes and heroines theme to celebrate the incredible community spirit shown following the Boxing Day floods last year.
A big thanks to those volunteers who have dedicated countless hours to making sure the event was a success.
