Over the past few days many constituents have contacted me to highlight their concerns about

Wharf Chambers in Leeds, which is not eligible for financial support from the Government’s Covid-19 Culture Recovery Fund.

I know that Wharf Chambers provides a sense of community and has come to represent a safe space for many people in Leeds. The sheer volume of constituents contacting me about this situation has illustrated how much of an asset it is to Leeds and the local area.
This is why I have today written to Oliver Dowden, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports, to highlight my constituents’ concerns, and to appeal for some kind of accommodation to be found
