Increasing the number of women in engineering

Last week when Rachel was chatting to 6th Form pupils from Lawnswood, Swallow Hill Community College and Leeds West Academy at the Council's apprenticeship fair she met a number of young women interested in doing apprenticeships in engineering. She also spoke to employers who explained what they were doing to increase the number of women who wanted to be engineers. Careers in this sector can be very rewarding and often well paid!
