DATE CHANGED: Hawksworth Wood Post Office Meeting

Rachel has invited the Post Office to a public meeting about the future of Hawksworth Wood Post Office at 5.30pm on THURSDAY 5TH MARCH at St. Mary’s Church.

In December the Post Office announced plans to move the Post Office to Lea Farm Road. Rachel’s survey about the future of the branch has shown that local residents are overwhelmingly in favour of keeping the branch in its present location. Residents have highlighted concerns about the accessibility of the new location, particularly given how far it is from the bus route.

Rachel has since been working with local organisations and the Post Office to find a sustainable solution which would see the branch remain in its current location.

Whether you agree or disagree with the move, please join us at the church to speak directly to the Post Office about the branch’s future.
