Armley Mosque raises money for Kirkstall flood relief

visit to armley mosque

I was thrilled to go to Armley Mosque on Friday to receive a cheque for over £200 towards the flood relief effort in Kirkstall.

All the businesses affected by the floods are extremely grateful for how the wider Leeds West community has rallied round. Cllrs Alice Smart and Jim Mckenna joined me for the visit, it was good to see Mr Khatana and all our many friends at the Mosque – the building work is going well and I look forward to being involved in the opening of the extended Mosque in the summer.
