Mr Rana Singh from Hollybush Primary School contacted me recently to tell me what a star his headteacher has been during lockdown. This prompted me to think we ought to celebrate more of our local heroes who have stepped up to the plate over the past few months.​

So, I’m proud to announce that Briony Robertson, headteacher of Hollybush Primary School, is the recipient of my very first West Leeds Local Hero award.
