I am delighted to be hosting a dementia awareness session, in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Society, with local community activist and council candidate, John Hardy, next month in New Farnley.

John is a tireless campaigner in Farnley and Wortley, standing up for local residents when others do not. John also has a strong track record on taking up challenging issues in our society, such as when he was the champion for the Homeless in Leeds whilst being a Councillor. So I am delighted that John is joining me for another important cause of improving the awareness of dementia in our community.
The session will be held between 10 and 11am on Friday 4th March at the Old Lancastrian School, 27 Back Lane, New Farnley, LS12 5HN. All are welcome. If you would like to come, just email me at rachel.reeves.mp@parliament.uk
