Rachel Reeves Labour Member of Parliament for Leeds West
I was delighted to attend Leeds Woman’s Aid supporters’ event last week at White Cloth Gallery. There were a great variety of guests in attendance, including Councillor Judith Blake, Leader of Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Mark Burns-Williamson and local Armley Councillors and supporters Alice Smart and Alison Lowe.
As Patron of Leeds Women’s Aid, I was honoured to say a few words on the night highlighting the exceptional achievements of this local charity, including the opening of their new charity shop in Horsforth. It is vital that Leeds Women’s Aid continue to be supported through funding, donations and volunteers in order to continue with their desperately needed services.
Leeds Women’s Aid are always looking for donations including:
- Women and children’s clothes
- New toys
- Toiletries
- Non perishable food items
If you have anything to donate please contact Leeds Women’s Aid on 0113 246 0401 or email administration@leedswomensaid.org.uk.
