Trains from Kirkstall Forge station have now been running for over a week and the station was officially opened this morning.

Many partners have worked extremely hard to ensure that this project was delivered. The new station makes central Leeds accessible in 8 minutes for thousands of my constituents living in both Kirkstall and Bramley, with access to the station by foot, bike and car.
With the development of offices, housing and infrastructure including a primary school taking shape around the station, it will not be too long before jobs and growth are unlocked for people in Leeds West. I will continue to be closely involved with the development to ensure that it benefits local people.
