I was recently contacted by two constituents who’s mobility cars, provided as part of their Personal Indepedence payments, was being recalled after their recent reassessment.  They depend on these vehicles in order to be mobile and independent and this sudden change induced by mandatory reassessments will be a major blow to their lives. I raised this issue to the Secretary of State for disabled people and am calling on the government to act to prevent these punitative measures that severely impact the quality of life of those that depend on these vehicles.
