I am very proud to be patron of Leeds Women’s Aid – on Thursday I spoke at their annual event about the excellent work they do.

Leeds Women’s Aid do essential work in supporting and protecting the women of Leeds from domestic violence, which one in four women will experience in their lifetime. They provide a huge range of important services such as a 24 hour helpline, group support therapy, children’s support services, resettlement aid and more. They regularly hold fundraising events to raise funds for their excellent work, more information can be found on their website for those who would like to support them.
