Last week Rachel was invited to join the 17th South West Leeds Scout Group, the group meets opposite St Bartholomew's Church in Armley.

Rachel was speaking to the Scouts about the work of an MP and how the political system works to meet one of their 'Scout Challenges'.

The Scouts had some really good questions for Rachel, and had a good discussion about issues that were important to them. They suggested more investment in sports facilities, not just for young people but for people of all ages, as well as issues like pay and policing.

Rachel said:

"I always enjoy meeting young people and hearing their ideas about making Leeds West a better place to live. I hope I was able to give them some insight into the work of an MP."
