Bramley Celebrates Tour De Carnival!

Bram_Carnival.JPG

Hundreds of local residents enjoyed the excellent Bramley Carnival, this year themed as the "Tour De Carnival", last Sunday.

It was a fantastic day full of fun activities and entertainment for all. The Carnival featured many brilliant events, including the return of Stuntworld Motorcycle Stunt Team, the Carnival Queen and Princesses crowning, Trade stalls and a large Funfair by Marshall Waddington.

Our Bramley & Stanningley Ward Councillors and the Leeds West Labour team also joined the jubilant crowd on the beautiful summer day and ran a stall, handing out information and encouraging people to sign Rachel's Library Petition.

Rachel would like to congratulate and thank all the organisers and volunteers who worked so hard to put on another fantastic Carnival.

A special mention to Bramley Carnival stalwart, Terrence Knapton, who sadly passed away recently. Terrence was responsible for reviving the Bramley Carnival and organised the event with his partner, Helen, for many years.
