Birthday splash at Bramley Baths

Bramley_disco.jpg

Recently Rachel joined in the celebration of Bramley Bath’s 110th anniversary with their very own homage to the dance-hall era.

Inspired by people visited Bramley Baths in the late 50’s and 60’s for the winter dances, a disco was arranged for all ages to enjoy.  A live set by the Speed Dinosaurs was streamed underwater and over and people enjoyed the splash-dance from the balcony with glowsticks and ice-cream. While Rachel enjoyed the pool disco, Cllrs Kevin Ritchie and Caroline Gruen joined in from the balcony and John Battle tried his hands at being a DJ - mixing some great tunes!

Rachel said

“It was a fabulous evening to celebrate the spirit of our community, so many families were there. Everyone had a great time in the pool enjoying the anniversary of the wonderful baths.”
